Overview
Close to Kathmandu, so transport is inexpensive (but the unmade road is a rough ride). Trek through forests to an alpine valley just south of the Tibetan border. Good alpine views and interesting Tibetan-style villages.

Itinerary
Day 1.
Syabrubesi – Lama Hotel. (6-7 hours)
Day 2.
Lama Hotel – Langtang. (4-6 hours)
Day 3.
Langtang – Kyanjin Gompa. (3-4 hours)
Days 4 & 5.
Choice of routes through the Langtang valley.
Days 6, 7 & 8.
Choice of routes back to either Syabrubesi or Dhunche.
